Antica Tindari is situated in a heroic wine growing area between the volcano Etna and the gulf of Patti where they grow native vines and produce noble autochthonous wines.
Careful selection of the vines, great care of the soil and environment by use of non aggressive technology are the basis of Antica Tindari's production of noble red wines such as Nero d' Avola, Syrah, Nerello Mascalese and Nocera and the white wines such as Inzolia e Malvasia.
The ancient volcano Etna is the highest peak of the Trinacria.
According to the legend the founder was Tyndareus, father of Leda, wife of Zeus, who gave birth to Elena and the two Dioscuri.
